Windows system information

Lumi

A lightweight C library that retrieves system information on Windows. Supports Windows 10 and 11 and is fully compatible with C++.

How it works

Create a Lumi instance to hold system information.

Call the required functions to populate the instance.

Each function uses system APIs to collect and populate information.

Access the collected information directly from the instance.

Use the information directly in an application.

A Lumi instance is created and maintained by the user. Lumi does not create or manage any instance of its own.

Heap allocated instances must be freed by the user though Lumi is designed with stack allocation in mind.

Lumi uses a mix of WinAPI, Registry reads and DXGI to collect system information.
